At Village Pediatric Dentistry, our goal is to provide dental care in a relaxed, safe environment.
It is not uncommon for children to fear the dentist. If we are honest, many adults are scared of the dentist too! Our entire team is trained to use child friendly terminology and approaches to help calm your little one's nerves. There are times, however, in which we are unable to complete certain treatment needs due to a child's overwhelming fear and anxiety.
If your child is apprehensive, Dr. Laura will evaluate your child's treatment needs and discuss alternative treatment options with you. These options might include the use of nitrous oxide (aka laughing gas) or general anesthesia. Before deciding what might be the best option for your child, a thorough dental examination and medical history must be gathered.

"We have had the privilege of Dr Laura being our child’s dentist for a number of years. My now 12 year old HATED the dentist. She needed quite extensive orthodontic work done, but had to have the dental work done first. We lucked in to being placed on Dr. Laura’s schedule and we have never looked back.
