Keeping Your Little Village Smiling...

what to expect at the first visit

Getting to know Dr. Laura and the team will be a stress-free, enjoyable experience for you and your child.  We tailor each visit to meet the needs of your child.

Your child’s initial visit at Village Pediatric Dentistry will last approximately forty-five minutes. During this visit we will review your child’s past medical and dental history.  We will review oral hygiene tips and tricks, that are specific to your child’s age and needs.  Our team is trained to use child-friendly approaches to clean your child’s teeth and complete a thorough dental examination.

What should I bring to my first visit?

On your first visit to our office, please bring your insurance card.  To keep your family safe, you will receive a link via email or text to complete our new patient paperwork electronically.

Do you accept insurance, and what can I expect to pay?

We accept most insurance plans and will submit your insurance claim for you as a courtesy. Any portion of payment not covered by insurance is your responsibility and is due at the time of service. If payment is not met in full at the time of service, then a statement will be sent to you that reflects a rebilling fee. Please understand, we do not dictate insurance policies and can only work with them. Our patient care coordinator will be happy to discuss your child’s insurance coverage prior to your first visit and anytime thereafter. Please contact us with any questions.

DO YOU OFFER ANY PAYMENT OPTIONS IF I DON'T HAVE INSURANCE?

Village Pediatric Dentistry is excited to offer the Little Village Benefits Plan which gives our patients access to savings and benefits for both preventative and treatment needs all year long! Click below to learn more!

What if my child is nervous about their visit?

It’s normal for children to be anxious about visits to the dentist. Pediatric dentists have special training in helping children feel secure during treatment. While having their teeth cleaned or examined, patients can watch a movie on a nearby monitor. Our office is designed to be kid-friendly and fun, and our staff members choose to work in a pediatric office because they enjoy working with children.
